Left Out

Eighteen year old Emilie has been in her bed for ten months. She suffers from the disease ME, and is one of several with this diagnosis that documentary filmmaker Pål S. Schaathun interviews in the film “Left Out” broadcast on Norwegian TV 2.

For two years, Schaathun gained unique access to ME researchers at the Haukeland hospital, through a project many believed could lead to the discovery of medicine for the disease.
